What You Need to Know About Our Services
Every service business website should have five core pages as a minimum: 1. Home — answers 'what do you do, where are you, and why should I choose you' in under 5 seconds. 2. About — the human story. Who you are, your credentials, and why clients trust you. 3. Services — a clear list of each service with a brief benefit-focused description. 4. Contact — phone number, WhatsApp link, contact form, and embedded Google Map. 5. One additional page specific to your business — Booking, Pricing, or a specific treatment/service page. Our Starter Presence package includes all 5 pages.
Yes, and this is one of our strongest niches. Accounting firms, bookkeepers, sole proprietors, attorneys, and financial advisors need a website that signals credibility first — and generates enquiries second. We understand that tone and structure very well. For professional services firms, we specifically include: POPIA compliance notice, professional bio section, service area page, and client testimonial structure.
This is specifically what we design for. Every service website we build includes a WhatsApp chat button that floats on every page. It's configured with your WhatsApp number and a pre-filled greeting message. When a visitor taps it on mobile, it opens WhatsApp immediately. Beyond the button: we write your contact page and CTA sections specifically to drive WhatsApp contact — because in the South African market, WhatsApp is the preferred first contact channel for most small business clients. We know this and we build for it.
We build exclusively on Shopify for every client — service businesses and e-commerce. Here's why: Shopify works out of the box for South African payment gateways — PayFast, Yoco, Peach Payments, and Ozow are all supported natively. WordPress requires plugins that frequently break and need constant maintenance. Shopify handles hosting, security, SSL certificates, and uptime automatically. You're never managing a server or worrying about plugin conflicts. Shopify has 99.99% uptime — your site stays live 24/7, load shedding or not. Shopify's SEO foundations are solid out of the box: clean URL structures, automatic sitemap generation, canonical tags, and fast mobile load speeds. Wix is a website builder, not a business platform. It's designed for hobbyists and small portfolios — not for businesses that need to grow, add products, and rank on Google over time.
We configure the South African payment gateways that best suit your business type and average transaction value. The main options: PayFast — the most widely used in SA. Supports credit cards, instant EFT, Mobicred, SnapScan. Fee: approximately 3.5% + R2.00 per transaction. Yoco — excellent for businesses that also sell in-person (markets, pop-ups). Combines an online store with a card machine. Peach Payments — popular with higher-volume stores. Competitive rates with next-day settlement. Ozow — best for instant EFT. Lower fee than card processing. Works well as a second option alongside PayFast.
Shopify POS (Point of Sale) lets you take payments in person — at your shop, a market stall, a pop-up event — while keeping everything synced with your online store. Stock levels, sales reports, and customer data all update in real time across your online and in-person sales channels. You need Shopify POS if you sell both online and physically — markets, a retail counter, in-room services, or pop-up events. If you're purely online, you don't need it. We set up Shopify POS integration as part of our Growth Build and Authority Build packages. We configure your products, pricing, and payment methods so your in-person and online selling is fully unified from day one.
Google Business Profile (GBP) is the listing that appears on the right side of Google Search results and on Google Maps when someone searches for your business or a service in your area. It shows your phone number, photos, reviews, hours, and website — and it's completely free. Here's why it matters for South African businesses: in nearly every local search ('accountant Durban', 'spa near me', 'physio Umhlanga'), Google shows the GBP map results before any website results. That means even a business with a perfect website can be invisible if their GBP is missing or incomplete. We set up and fully optimise your GBP as part of every package — correct business category, SA-specific keywords in your description, Q&A section, your first week of posts, and a review acquisition strategy.
For a brand new website with no previous Google history, realistic expectations are: Weeks 1–4: Google indexes your site. You may appear for your exact business name. Weeks 4–8: You start appearing for long-tail, low-competition local searches. Months 2–4: Consistent local search visibility for your main keywords builds up. Months 4–6+: Competitive terms and 'near me' searches begin to yield page-one results. SEO is not a switch — it's a compounding process. The technical setup we do from day one (proper heading structure, clean URLs, Google Search Console submission, GBP optimisation) is what creates the foundation. Monthly SEO maintenance (Growth Plan and Authority Plan) is what makes rankings climb and hold. For highly competitive niches (attorneys, accountants in major cities), 6–12 months of consistent SEO work is realistic for top-3 Google Maps positions.
Google Search Console (GSC) is a free Google tool that shows you how Google sees and indexes your website. It tells you which keywords people are using to find you, which pages Google has crawled, any technical errors, and your Core Web Vitals score. You need it because: without it, you're flying blind. You have no idea whether Google has indexed your site, what's broken, or which pages are actually bringing in visitors. We set up and verify Google Search Console for Growth Build and Authority Build packages. We also submit your sitemap, resolve any initial crawl errors, and configure it to receive your website's data from day one.
It means your Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn look and feel like they belong to the same brand as your website — consistent colours, fonts, tone, and messaging. When a potential client moves from your website to your Instagram, they should immediately recognise it as the same business. Inconsistency kills trust. What we specifically do for social alignment: design branded profile pictures and cover images, write SEO-optimised bios for each platform, set up the correct link in bio, create branded Instagram Story highlight covers, and write your initial 3 pinned posts for launch. This is included in our Authority Build package (R9,500). It's available as an add-on for Growth Build clients.
